Surah Al-Fil (The Elephant)

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ

105:1 Have you not seen ˹O Prophet˺ how your Lord dealt with the Army of the Elephant?

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ

105:2 Did He not frustrate their scheme?

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ

105:3 For He sent against them flocks of birds,

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

105:4 that pelted them with stones of baked clay,

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ

105:5 leaving them like chewed up straw.
