Surah At-Tin (The Fig)

التين

Makki · 8 ayahs

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ

95:1 By the fig and the olive,

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

95:2 and by Mount Sinai,

وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ

95:3 and by this secure city [Makkah],

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

95:4 We certainly created the human being in the finest form.

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ

95:5 Then We brought him down to the lowest of the low,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

95:6 except those who believe and do righteous deeds; they will have a reward that never ends.

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ

95:7 So what, after this, makes you deny the Judgment?

أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ

95:8 Is Allah [God] not the most just of judges?
