Surah Al-'Adiyat (The Courser)

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا

100:1 By the panting chargers,

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا

100:2 striking sparks,

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا

100:3 raiding at dawn,

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا

100:4 raising dust as they go,

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

100:5 then plunging into the middle of a gathered force,

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ

100:6 mankind is truly ungrateful to his Lord,

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ

100:7 and he himself is surely a witness to that,

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

100:8 and he is truly intense in his love of wealth.

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

100:9 Does he not know? When what is in the graves is turned out,

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

100:10 and what is in the chests is brought to light,

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

100:11 their Lord, that Day, will surely be fully aware of them.
