Surah Az-Zalzalah (The Earthquake)

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

99:1 When the earth is shaken with its quake,

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا

99:2 and the earth brings out its burdens,

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا

99:3 and the human being says, “What is wrong with it?”

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

99:4 that Day it will tell its news,

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا

99:5 because your Lord has prompted it.

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ

99:6 That Day, people will come out in scattered groups to be shown what they did.

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ

99:7 So whoever does a speck’s weight of good will see it,

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ

99:8 and whoever does a speck’s weight of evil will see it.
